Mission and goals
Provide youth anglers in grades 9-12 who reside in the Wayzata School District an opportunity to engage in the promotion of and participation in the sport of fishing.
Teach anglers lifelong skills in boater safety and fishing techniques so that they may safely and successfully participate in the sport of fishing.
Provide a team environment that facilitates improving the angling skills of all team members through cooperation and sharing of best fishing practices and methods.
Create a lifelong angler.
Enjoy the sport of fishing.
Events:
We actively participate in the following events provided by the Student Angler Tournament Trail, the Lund Virtual Fishing League, and our own intra-team fish derby competitions.
2024 Student Angler Tournament Trail (SATT) Regular Season Schedule:
May 19th, 2024: SATT Regional Tournament, Minnetonka (registration opens @6pm Thursday 4/04)
June 9th, 2024: SATT Open tournament, Le Homme Dieu (registration opens @6pm Thursday 4/25)
June 23rd, 2024: SATT Open tournament, Whitefish (registration opens @6pm Thursday 5/09)
July 14th, 2024: SATT Open tournament, Mississippi (Pools 7 and 8) (registration opens Thursday @6pm 5/30)
July 28th, 2024: SATT Open tournament, Mille Lacs (registration opens Thursday @6pm 6/13)
Qualifying events:
August 4th, 2024: SATT Tournament of Champions Individuals: Big Stone Lake)
August 18th, 2024: SATT State Team Event: Pelican)
