About Our Team
The Wayzata Fishing Team was founded in summer 2017. The team is looking forward to growing the membership and finding more young men and women who share the love of fishing.
The Wayzata Fishing Team is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of youth anglers in grades entering 9th graders-12th who reside in the Wayzata School District (ISD 284). The team provides members with the opportunity to engage in the promotion and participation of the sport of fishing.
What We Do
Our members participate in recreational and competitive fishing events including tournaments, fundraisers, practices, and seminars. We also give back to our local community and sponsors by volunteering at local events and through various service projects.
We inspire and equip youth for lifelong enjoyment in the sport of fishing.
